We recently held our first staff training session for the year. Ongoing training is a key part of how we maintain high standards and make sure our team feels confident, supported, and consistent in the way we deliver care. We covered the NDIS Code of Conduct, best-practice support expectations, and worked through role-playing scenarios to build real-world skills, communication, and professionalism on shift.
Josh has been making great progress in building healthy habits and sticking to a consistent routine. He’s been showing more confidence with day-to-day tasks, staying motivated, and taking pride in the small wins along the way. It’s been great to see his effort pay off as he continues to build independence and momentum.
Jackson has been making great progress socially and at school, and it’s been amazing to see his confidence grow. Recently, he enjoyed a fun mini golf outing in the community, staying engaged and focused throughout. He showed patience at each hole, practised turn-taking and social skills, and celebrated his wins with a big smile. It was a relaxed, positive day out, and Jackson stayed in great spirits the whole time.
